Ramps to Freedom

Wheels to Recovery

Are you Handy? Do you know your way around power tools? Do you want to help a Veteran or First Responder in need?

One of the biggest obstacles that our wounded Veterans and First Responders face is having access to their home. Building a simple ramp into their home allows them the comfort of recovering in a place that is less stressful. Being in a rehab center or hospital is sometimes depressing and lonely. If you are not handy, well that is okay too, because our ramp builder volunteers can use help carrying material and will also need something to eat or drink throughout the day. If you can supply breakfast, lunch or drinks the ramp builders will be happy to have you helping them that day. If you are unable to be there in person, please consider helping by donating money to help us continue helping our heroes.

Some obstacles that our wounded Veterans and First Responders face is access to dependable transportation. Making simple repairs to their automobiles allow them the ability to travel to their doctor appointments and to their therapy sessions. We are always looking for repair shops and suppliers who would be able to work with us and to assist us in either getting needed parts or for helping us to get the work done on our heroes vehicles. If this is something that you feel that you can contribute and help with, please feel free to reach out.
