OUR STORY

Shower of Hope needs your help and so do our Veterans and First Responders! With supporters like you, we hope to receive enough donations for our worthy cause to start making a difference. We are an important part of the recovery process but we cannot do it alone.

Our heroes are suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and many other debilitating injuries and these heroes are not being properly cared for. Sure, there are organizations like the Veterans Administration and even some private organizations who claim to help these heroes. But DO They?

While many of these organizations make big claims of helping and caring, there are big obstacles that obstruct these heroes from getting the assistance and care needed, especially in a timely manner. Getting access to treatment can sometimes take several years. That's a lifetime to someone suffering with PTSD. In fact, the sooner our loved ones are treated, the better chances of their success. Sadly, if help is provided, if it comes at all, it is usually in the form of medication.

Shower of Hope cannot accomplish what we need to do without the dedicated, caring, hardworking volunteer's that continue to devote countless hours to help our wounded Veterans. Are you looking to volunteer?
